Instead of ranting online game encounters on my personal blog, I shall just rant/compile them here since this is my gaming blog and bad/good experiences ingame are part of it...
It's almost Valentines Day and this one particular memory resurfaced on my mind a few days ago (I only had the time to type it out now~). Two years ago when I was a very close friend of Ivan (my bf now) he got me a duck plushie as a Valentines gift, I know there was really no need for a friendship gift on Valentines Day, but he insisted, so I accepted and he held onto it until he can give it to me personally. No problem in that, I thought it was very nice of him, I only met him a few months ago prior to that incident and he prepared a very random gift for me...
Then he told me he also prepared a gift to little kid (yes, I shall call her little kid on my blog), what was it? It was +12 upgrade of her Sea Dragon Kabala (L grade), because she just recently got it that week. Ivan sold his costume just to secretly upgrade that kabala when she was out for school (I think?). I thought it was nice at first but then Ivan himself, had to tell me and one of our other friend that he was the one who made it, I guess that wasn't exactly a bad thing because he was just telling people that he got it to +12 for her, right? So all is well until she logged in, I saw her and jokingly said 'go scold him for spending so much for a Valentines gift', I can't exactly remember the exact phrase but it was something like that. Because if Ivan did that for me, I would definitely scold him, he sold one of his costumes just to upgrade that and mind you, costumes in Dragon Nest aren't really cheap. From what I've heard from Ivan when he told her about that gift, she was quiet, then she teleported away to another channel, wait scratch that, different channels for IDK what reason, then after a few while she went back to our home channel where Ivan was and said "I don't know if I should scold you or not". Again, I'm not sure of the exact phrase but the meaning and thought is there. So let's see, what do you think did she do when she changed channels? I didn't think ill of it at first but then I just realized, eversince that day, her weapon costume was hidden and when you see her character, her SDN L kabala is the one on display, sooo yep~ we deducted that she went to change channels to show off her newly +12 kabala to the public (back then +12 was quite rare and only a few people can afford it). How do I know? I shall support that theory with some other posts nextime and tag them #knowitallkid on my blog.
Oh and, if someone got me something like that, I wouldn't probably have the guts to link it to other people and complain it didn't have the potential I want.. That's probably just me though!
